Fairies vs Insects
Fantasy illustration showing fairies going on the offensive against their enemies.
An elaboration on the fairy faction pictured in the illustration above. This fairy became a commander after distinguishing herself in battle, where she lost her wings to an evil mosquito general and then took her revenge, returning with its stinger as her prize. She now uses it as a weapon.
The leader of the bug faction. I was inspired by two insect species I have personal grievances with: mosquitoes and wasps.

Botanist's Apprentice
The goal of this image was to portray an NPC in a game, roleplaying campaign, or other similar media. I decided to give the character some distinctive attributes without veering into protagonist territory.

Illustration for Pokemon TCG art contest. I wanted to push colours to be very vibrant since the bright colours are more easily visible on small formats like trading cards, and they convey joy and fun, which is what the Pokémon TCG is all about for me.
