Concept environment for a game featuring squirrel characters. I wanted the environment to be a mix of natural, organic shapes and modern design. Model made in Blender and painted over in Photoshop.
Character concept: Zot
This NPC character lives an isolated life where they nurture an obsession with a mysterious signal from space. The player character would interact with them without knowing what hides beneath the helmet. You, however, get that privilege ;)
Zot's Tower
The inspiration for the character above came from my work on this environment. My theme going in was "Wizard's Tower." The character I came up with was a conspiracy theorist overlapping with an occult fanatic with child-like tendencies. Players would be left wondering if they are dealing with an adult who never grew up, or an actual child.
